February 7th, 2024.

We are so excited about this pairing. This litter produced silver tabbies, blue tabbies and black tabbies. We also
expect
these kittens to have a very strong bone structure, large muzzles, tall lynx tip ears, long bushy tails, and they will get very big.  Both of these cats have amazing, personable characters.

HOW TO GET ONE OF OUR GORGEOUS MAINE COON KITTENS:

The reservation process is very straightforward. Once kittens are born, we'll post the announcement on this page. You will be able to see who the parents are and their date of birth. We won't post any photos during neonatal phase ( first four weeks) of their lives. We like to reserve this time for moms and babies.
No reservation will be allowed until kittens are 4-5 weeks old.

If you are interested in adopting a kitten please complete this Guardian Application.

 Maine Coon Adoption check list

Adopting a Maine Coon and brining it to your home is a big commitment. We want to help you be well prepared for the responsibility of owning a Maine Coon cat. Here is a few tips to get ready for your new addition.

  •  Learn About The Breed: Spend some time researching the Maine Coon Cat, including physical characteristics,  personality, colors, grooming needs and dietary needs. Make sure this is the right can for you and your family

  • Space Accommodations for your cat: Maine coons are generally very large in size so they require "extra" space and bigger kitty furniture. It takes a little bit of shopping to find just a right size of everything for your kitty. It's kind of like shopping for someone who is  big and tall.

  • Can you afford a Maine Coon?  Any new pet will incur new monthly expenses. Your budget should allow for a high quality of food,  toys, supplies and pet insurance. A fund should be set aside for veterinary care and/or emergencies if needed.

  • Veterinarian: Do some research and try to find a vet specialising in Maine Coons cats, or at least cats in general. Schedule regular check-ups with your vet to make sure your cat stays in top health throughout its life.

  • Grooming: Maine Coons have long hair that requires regular brushing and grooming. Obtain the proper tools and set aside 2 to 3 times per week to groom your cat. This will keep your cats coat healthy and prevent matting.

  • Litter box: Your coonie will require an extra large litter box. (See our recommendations for more info on the litter box we use.) Daily scooping of the waste from the box is essential to maintain good litter box habits. If you have more than one cat, than one box per one cat is recommended.

Is there a difference between Between Adopting and buying?

We use the word "adopt" for our kittens because we treat each family like they're adopting a new child. Our kittens are never free. There will always be a fee associated with one of our cats, regardless of the age or health condition.

Maine Coon cats for Adoption

We've taken extra step to ensure that our breeding patents are 100% healthy before pairing them. This means each parent owned by CrystalStar, male and female, have had full genetic DNA profiles performed on them. WE strive to use only to highest quality cats in our Maine Coon Breeding program.
